Call for Abstracts for UCSD Symposium on Global Reproductive Health

Dear Friends/Colleagues:

I wanted to personally invite you and your colleagues who may be interested to our upcoming Symposium of Gender Equity and Global Reproductive Health, to be held at UCSD on March 19-21, 2014. We are very invested in seeing representation from UCLA, USC, UCI, UCSD, and from any of your networks.  Below is a call for abstracts as well;
U.S. based or global work are welcome!  The Symposium will include remarks from our new President Janet Napolitano, Chancellor Pradeep Khosla, UC Berkeley former Bixby Chair, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Can you please consider attending, invite trainees to participate and circulate this invitation broadly? We are building a strong Family Planning Network as well.

Symposium on Gender Equity and Global Reproductive Health

To Be Held: March 19-21, 2014 in San Diego, CA

 

The Symposium on Gender Equity and Global Reproductive Health will be a gathering of researchers, practitioners, and leaders who work in the intersecting areas of gender equity and reproductive health and family planning, with the goal of developing a collaborative network of scholars, and practitioners at all career levels to advance science, policy and practice in this field. Research scholars, practitioners, and advocates across
the globe are invited to participate in this important event. The Symposium will include presentations from key leaders in the areas of research and evidence-based program and policy, highlighting cutting edge study findings and innovative solutions, as well as networking opportunities for donors, scholars, practitioners, advocates and policy experts to discuss key issues of gender equity and global reproductive health. Please note that registration is free and can be completed online.
