AHRQ 2015 Maternal Health Summer Fellow Opportunity for MPH graduates
I am writing to inform you that AHRQ has obtained approval to continue its annual paid summer Fellow program for 2015. It is with great excitement that I share with you that one of the Fellow positions will
focus on maternal health policy and research, working directly with me. In addition to being involved with AHRQ’s ongoing national perinatal safety project, the successful
candidate will also be engaged in our upcoming early elective delivery research project, the teen pregnancy data analysis, and a systematic review specific to a maternal health topic. Each project will provide opportunities for publications and presentations.
The position is flexible in that it allows the Fellow to tailor their experience and integrate elements that are of interest to them while also maintaining their primary work at their institution. Based on previous experience, we anticipate over 500 competitive
applications from doctoral/post-doc students and research/clinical faculty for approximately 15 positions with one specific to maternal health.
The email below provides a direct link to more information on the opportunity and directions on how to apply. Please feel free to distribute this information widely. If you have any potential candidates in
mind, please let them know that I would be happy to discuss the details of the Fellow opportunity with them.
