The Population Council is looking for a strong researcher as socio-demographic data analyst to coordinate multiple research projects within the Reproductive Health Program. Primarily, this Program Officer III (Researcher) will conduct research on health care financing, access and utilization of maternal health care services, contraceptive use and quality of care. With his or her strong analytic skills, the Program Officer III (Researcher) will take a lead role in conducting research on health facility user fee removals leveraging multiple rounds of national survey data. Working familiarity and demonstrable management of multiple datasets from the demographic and health surveys (DHS) a significant plus. The successful applicant will be data-driven and keen to address gaps in the relevant literature. The candidate needs to have or be completing her or his PhD.
