Volunteer to Support Family Planning! (The Society of Family Planning’s Annual Meeting in Los Angeles)

;widows:2;word-spacing:0px”>

This meeting brings together scholars, clinicians, and partners from a range of disciplinary and specialty backgrounds who are united by a shared interest in advancing science that will lead to more just and equitable abortion and contraception.

Volunteers are an invaluable part of making the Annual Meeting a success. Furthermore, this is a fantastic opportunity to hear from leading reproductive health experts, network with a community of providers, researchers and advocates and meet with industry professionals.

We are seeking folks who can assist with:

  1. General conference volunteering, shift-based (event set-up, registration, session room captain, exhibit hall monitor, greeter and way finder).
  2. Staffing an exhibitor booth featuring the latest edition of Speroff & Darney’s Clinical Guide to Contraception (greeting attendees, book sales, booth set up).

Details:

· Volunteers are asked to sign up for a shift on one day of the conference. As a thank you for your time, you are invited to attend the other days of the conference with free admission.

· All volunteers will be required to join an online orientation training via web conference in advance of the meeting.

· The safety of our meeting participants is of the utmost importance to us. All conference participants are subject to a security check and will be vetted prior to registration confirmation.

To learn more about the meeting please visit our conference website here. The full schedule of activities at #SFP2019 can be viewed here.

If you are interested in volunteering please let me know or send a note to Christine Hence and mention that you heard about the opportunity from Dr. Brian T. Nguyen.

Please circulate to your respective groups and those who may be interested.

Gratefully,
