Funding Opportunities

One of the main activities of the Bixby Center is to provide support to public health graduate students at UCLA who are interested in population and reproductive health. Every year, the Center assists graduate students who wish to do an international internship with an organization or agency working in family planning, AIDS, sexually-transmitted diseases, abortion, sexual health, adolescent reproductive health, or gender-based violence. The Center also supports Masters students in obtaining hands-on research experience from a public health faculty mentor engaged in reproductive health research. In addition, the Center provides selected Doctoral students interested in population or reproductive health with one to two years of fellowship funding.
