Job opportunity: Part-time research associate contract position with UCSF on woman-centered contraception

I am a project manager at UCSF’s Program in Woman-Centered Contraception. We are currently looking for a part-time research associate to conduct in-clinic recruitment at our Southern California sites,
for a social communication-based contraceptive education intervention for adolescents. I thought position might be of interest to you and your members, and I wondered if you might be able to share this brief description with them. This position would be ideal
for a student with interest in reproductive health looking to gain experience in research.  

The following is a brief description of the position:

The primary responsibility of the contracted research associate will be lead participant recruitment and intervention delivery for an evaluation of SpeakOut,
a social communication-based contraceptive education intervention for adolescents, at two clinical sites in Santa Ana and Anaheim. Specific activities will include but are not limited to:

Coordinating with clinic staff to learn of patients who may be eligible for the study and traveling to clinics on appropriate days
Approaching and consenting potentially eligible patients interested in the study before or after their clinic appointments
Conducting baseline survey administration
Implementing social communication intervention and control intervention about alcohol use with participants in clinics and on the phone
Entering, tracking and maintaining study data, including study logs, consents, study data and audio recordings
Ensuring secure storage of all study data and documentation
Coordinating with the UCSF team on study matters and attending bi-weekly meetings, remotely
Assisting with other study tasks as needed
