New Research Internship

Wise Entertainment recently received grant funding from the Pop Culture Collaborative to conduct research on how audiences of color engage with streaming content. Our ultimate aim is to develop new metrics
for measuring the success of shows like East Los High that center around protagonists who are people color. We are recruiting interns at the graduate levels to deep-dive into streaming and social media data on our show, analyze information and organize
our findings. Interns can start immediately and continue on through the Fall semester (or quarter), with the option to renew through the Spring semester. Internships are unpaid but can taken for credit. Interns are required
for a minimum of two days (or 16 hours) per week, schedule is flexible. Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief letter of interest to


Research & Development Internship For Current Projects

Wise Entertainment is seeking a Research & Development Intern to assist the R&D team in our Santa Monica office on projects currently on the company’s slate. Previous entertainment office or development experience
is a plus but not required. The candidate must be highly motivated with strong organizational skills and work ethic, a positive attitude and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.


Interns required for a minimum of two days (or 16 hours) per week, schedule is flexible. The internship is unpaid, but may be done for school credit. 


Responsibilities include:

– Formative research

– Development of research presentations

– Script content analysis

– Survey design and evaluation

– Qualitative and quantitative data analysis

– Assessment of social media platforms and media coverage.


Desired skills:

– Keynote or Powerpoint

– Familiarity with common social media platforms

– Familiarity with the Adobe suite of graphic design applications (not required)

– Video editing (not required)


This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to learn film and television development with an emphasis on socially conscious & progressive content. We are a fun and creative team with a broad diversity
of experience and expertise. We place enormous emphasis on providing practical training to help our interns develop their skills. Must have a laptop.
