The Project Policy Analyst supports the evaluation of multiple sexual and reproductive health programs within California, including sexual health education and preterm birth prevention. The individual’s primary responsibility is to process and verify received surveys, and provide technical assistance by phone and email to local agencies to properly administer surveys. The position is also responsible for supporting qualitative data collection activities, such as interview transcriptions, document reviews, and meeting observations. The individual will prepare findings for reports, articles, and presentations; conduct literature reviews; and provide administrative support such as creating timelines and scheduling meetings. 

The Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies (PRL-IHPS) is an organized research unit within the School of Medicine. The primary purposes of the Institute are to advance knowledge of health services and health policies through basic and applied research; to contribute to the solution of health and social problems through the application of research findings to health policy issues at the national, state, and local levels.
