Meet Kyle Ryan, Co-President of the Reproductive Health Interest Group

Kyle Ryan (Co-President) is a second-year MSPH student in the Department of Community Health Sciences. He is interested in HIV/STI treatment and prevention and sexual minority health. In addition to serving as one of RHIG’s co-presidents, Kyle also volunteers as a Sex and Cookies facilitator to help undergraduate students become familiar with the sexual health resources available to them on campus and in the surrounding communities. Kyle graduated with his B.S. in Biology from Stonehill College in 2014. Before joining the UCLA community, he worked in the Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder Program at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, which sparked his interest in public health and working to help improve the health of stigmatized populations. In his free time, Kyle enjoys running, relaxing with a coffee, yoga, and catching a stand-up comedy show.

The Reproductive Health Interest Group (RHIG) is a registered graduate student group at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Founded in 2002, RHIG brings together students, faculty, and staff to learn about and discuss reproductive health issues, share information, and engage in service and advocacy projects.
