Subasri Narasimhan is a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Center for Reproductive Health Research in the Southeast at Emory University. Her work on arguments, tactics, and evidence used by supporters of Georgia’s HB 481 abortion ban during legislative debate is part of a larger body of work examining the linkages between medical misinformation and legislative processes impacting reproductive health. This study was funded, in part, by the Society for Family Planning Research Fund’s Emerging Scholars in Family Planning grant. This work was recently featured in Time, Newsweek and in a webinar by Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters.
