Student: Dayo Spencer-Walters
Internship Year:

I worked on Her Excellency Mrs. Koroma’s Women’s Initiative for Safer Health (WISH) program. The primary funder of WISH is UNFPA. My major responsibilities included assessing the implementation of WISH since 2007, and using that assessment to refine process evaluation indicators to be submitted in the 2012 annual workplan. Other responsibilities included monitoring trips to birth waiting homes and hospitals. My final activity was to draft a report on the outcome of the Traditional, Religious and Young Leaders Forum on Family Planning and the prevention of teenage pregnancy, early marriage and gender based violence in the Northern Region.
