RHIG Student Group

Reproductive Health Interest Group

The Reproductive Health Interest Group (RHIG) is a student-led, multidisciplinary community dedicated to advancing reproductive justice, health equity, and bodily autonomy for all people. Grounded in intersectional and community-centered values, RHIG brings together students, faculty, and partners across UCLA and Los Angeles to address inequities in sexual and reproductive health.

Through education, advocacy, research, and service, RHIG works to expand access, uplift community voices, and strengthen culturally responsive approaches to SRH. RHIG is committed to supporting communities historically excluded from decision-making and care, and to challenging the structural barriers–including racism, sexism, xenophobia, queerphobia, and ableism– that shape people’s health, safety, and well-being.
