Hannah Reiser, MD MSc, is a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in Complex Family Planning (contraception and abortion care). She serves as a core CFP faculty member and Assistant Program Director for the Complex Family Planning Fellowship, teaching across learner levels — including medical students, OBGYN residents, CFP fellows, public health graduate students, and interprofessional faculty — with a focus on contraception, abortion care, reproductive justice, and gender-affirming clinical practice. Dr. Reiser is also a recurring invited lecturer at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.

Her research sits at the intersection of abortion care, clinical informatics, and health data privacy. Current work includes a recently published article in the Journal of Clinical Ethics on federal interoperability mandates and abortion data privacy ("HITECH Meets Dobbs," Summer 2026). She also serves as UCLA's institutional representative to the PRIVATE Working Group, a national effort focused on EHR privacy protections for reproductive health data.

Dr. Reiser holds board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Complex Family Planning, and Clinical Informatics — and applies this expertise directly to reproductive health systems, including leading the Epic EHR build for UCLA's Comprehensive Menopause Program and serving as clinical informaticist on multiple system-wide workflow initiatives. Clinically, she spearheaded the UCLA Health Complex Contraception Clinic and serves as a provider in the UCLA Gender Health Program.
